These Matrix Toe Cage safety stirrup treads are both extremely tough and durable. They help to stop the foot going through the stirrup and are easily fitted to most kinds of stirrups.
With a really small foot you can put foam or padding in the front of the cage to make sure the foot is being placed correctly.
NOTE: Smallest stirrup size that these will fit is 4"
Tip
With all Stirrup Irons when the widest part of the foot rests on the tread there should be half an inch clearance on either side of the foot. Fitted any smaller your foot risks getting stuck and any larger there is a danger of your foot slipping through and jamming.
